JRAPublish is a document imaging & batch conversion application that encodes searchable-image PDF and DjVu files from a large set of graphics and document input file types. The JRAPublish application provides reliable, unattended batch processing via an intuitive Windows interface for production jobs both large and small. The encoded document files that are generated JRAPublish are suitable for publishing on the web, submitting to document management systems and adding to full-text search and retrieval software. DjVu and PDF documents that are generated by JRAPublish can also be published on CD and DVD. JRAPublish applies the most advanced image compression that is available for digital documents, including JBIG2 compression for bitonal PDF pages from PDF-Tools.com and Segmented DjVu from LizardTech, making them small enough for internet delivery. The JRAConvert wizard application is bundled with JRAPublish, letting you extract images and text from DjVu, and to manage the document storage options for DjVu files. JRAPublish achieves the highest level of automatic OCR accuracy by using the ABBYY FineReader OCR engine, with text recognition in 176 languages. The QuickScan Pro option gives you a complete scan-to-web solution with complete ISIS and Twain driver support from Pixel Translations. The JRAPublish - QuickScan Pro 3.0 Scan & Index Option - Level 1 is for customers who need scanning and indexing software to produce cut-sheet document images as input files to JRAPublish, and who have a Level 1 scanner (scanners less than 20ppm and costing less than $2,000). The QuickScan Pro 3.0 application is installed in demo mode with JRAPublish. Customers who license this option can install QuickScan Pro on a different PC - the one attached to the document scanner. The Custom JRA Exporter that is included with QuickScan Pro enables the automatic transfer of metadata field values trom QuickScan Pro to the DjVu and PDF files that are generated by JRAPublish. QuickScan Pro 3.0 supports both ISIS and Twain scanner drivers, enabling you to connect to any document scanner available on the market.
